Downloading and Unpacking the Distribution

The current release of MJSulib is 4.2.1, dated 1st January 2022.

Note: version 4.1 introduced an important security fix in 2016; users of previous versions should upgrade to MJSulib version 4.1 or later and then rebuild any dependant programs.

The package is available in two alternative formats:

TAR archive (807 Kb): https://fido.aalin.co.uk/mjsulib/downloads/mjsulib-4.2.1.tar
ZIP archive (337 Kb): https://fido.aalin.co.uk/mjsulib/downloads/mjsulib-4.2.1.zip

Once you have downloaded the distribution, you will need to unpack it (preserving the full pathname of the contained files). This will create a directory called mjsulib-4.2 containing the source files, build-scripts, manpages, et al.

TAR archives can be unpacked with tar, cpio, pax, 7-Zip, WinZip, etc. ZIP archives can be unpacked with pkunzip, unzip, 7-Zip, WinZip, etc. You are now ready to build the software.
